RHA ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2023

4 new works will be exhibited as part of this years Summer show.  It opens on May 21 and runs until the end of August

Parthas,  oil on canvas,  150 x 100 cm 

“View of Paris”, 150 x 90 cm, oil on canvas will feature in the Sotheby’s British and Irish Art Sale in November 2022. 


All the works will be on show in the RHA  for the weekend of the 10-13th November and Blaise Smith will talk about the painting on Sunday 13th at noon.

‍Official Portrait of Taoiseach Brian Cowen for the Dáil on Exhibit at 192nd RHA Annual Exhibition


‍Blaise Smith’s portrait of Taoiseach Brian Cowen TD exhibited for the first time at this years RHA Summer Exhibition.  It will be hung in the Dail Gallery alongside previous taoisigh in Autumn 2022.

‍Butler Gallery is pleased to present an overview of the still life paintings of Kilkenny-based artist Blaise Smith R.H.A. This exhibition of works painted from 1997 to the present is drawn from private and state collections nationwide and is curated by Butler Gallery Director Anna O’Sullivan.


‍This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to review over twenty years of Blaise Smith’s still life paintings, to engage with the progression of his artistic skills and way of seeing, and to spend time appreciating one of Ireland’s foremost contemporary painters.


‍To coincide with the show two large scale prints have been produced in an edition of just 5 each. Click here for more info
